Lauren is a professional freelance writer and marketing expert. She has ongoing contracts with multiple corporations, including WorthPoint, the world's largest antique appraisal subscription. Her area of expertise ranges from food and alcohol industries to pest control and unmanned aircraft technologies.

Lauren has written for Technician, NC State University Campus Enterprises and Triangle Downtowner. During her time at Technician, Lauren served as the social media editor for the newspaper's 100th volume. This position led her to assist in making the 100 Year of Technician book.

Lauren is a graduate of NC State University, where she received her Bachelor of Art in mass media communication with a minor in journalism. She resides in North Carolina with her Shih Tzu.
